Hi
Just done a check using my fault finder and it's showing a p0380 fault. I've been having problems starting in cold weather which may be the reason.
Has anyone had this problem and what did they do to solve it, as I font want to go to nissan unless I really have to as they are rip off merchants.

This explains it https://www.obd-codes.com/p0380

If you aren't under warranty, then any garage should be able to sort this. You could try replacing the relay yourself - they are quite cheap and is the first place a garage would probably check anyway.

It might be best to nip to your local autoelectrician or car accessory shop - there's every possibility that it's a standard relay, they are pretty universal in the same way that fuses are, you just need the right rating.

Well my local garage replaced all the glow plugs and they said two were on their way out, anyways Fri morning thinking am I going to struggle to start the car, my fear were unfounded started instantly
Happy days, the cost to replace all 4 plugs £140, where as nissan dealer £280!!!

Sorry to post in older post but this was helpful for this generic code on a code reader, there were no dash lights on but the car got worse starting with the recent cold. Tested glow plugs with multi meter from the tip to the ground, all failed, ordered x4 Bosch 0250403012 new glow plugs as these failed ones were Beru... The Glow relay is under the ECU module in front of the battery. I'm not convinced the glow relay is operating correctly as resistances between contacts were different and all the plugs failed - this is the glow relay for mine - Negares 8200558438-A (Renault Branded), Renault/Nissan over £120 so I ordered second hand one too and replaced, one of them mentioned the part being superseded which may be n
Negares 271206395-R (looks the same from newer model 1.5DCi), similar second hand prices but I don't want to risk any ECU anomalies so went with the original part. The glow plugs came out easy but soaked a day or two in penetrating oil and then tightened to 10nm and undid all very carefully with 5/16 ratchet always square to extension bar with long 10mm socket and never too much force (any more than 15 odd nm undoing, had to estimate this). Hope someone finds this useful as couldn't find much on the internet at all.
