You are just trying to make me jealous! Garage indeedThe problem is, it depends on the ambient temperature. The colder it is the more heat is needed to clear the glass, especially if there is a load of snow on top of ice. Maybe if it is around freezing and the ice isn't too thick it might work. I just can't see it being enough in cold weather though I would love to be proven wrong.

Of course I'm trying to make you jealous :) mind you, it's rented - my wife has ours full of all sorts of stuff. I agree, it probably won't clear lots of snow, but snow is very good at insulating, so it might melt the ice or snow layer in Contact with the screen and the snow layer might stop it refreezing. There's a few "mights" in that sentence though :)

Oh PLEASE! ................ No STOP IT, I can't stop laughing!!! I've seen it all now?

What next, I know .......... let's try BOILING HOT WATER ....... or how about a HAMMER on a STICK!!!

''Like'' the idea, let's just wear away the windscreen and then it won't Frost Up .......... Nice! [By the time this Nugget might finally work, spring would have arrived?].

This is the cheapest option to prevent the Wiper Blades sticking to the Screen. When you get out of the Juke, engine Off, pull wiper stalk towards you and the Wipers will park in the middle of the screen, then just lift them away from the Screen. Place them back on the Screen the next day - Dave

or use this

Heatshot looks like a good idea - there was an offer on the qq forum a few weeks ago - I assume it would work on the juke.

I did something a bit similar years ago on one of my first cars, except my washer fluid was heated by the engine's cooling system (via a heat exchanger made from a half-gallon GTX can!) rather than electrically. It worked OK I guess but I haven't bothered to repeat the exercise on any other car so it can't have been that good. Of course heating electrically as on the heatshot would make the idea more useful on cold mornings.
