The whole speed camera database system is bad on the connect, and worse on the connect 2 (where the visual warning is so small as to be useless in normal driving). The problem is that there is no way to remove the built in database (well, it's possible, but Navteq/Here won't do it - I've asked) so a lot of the camera's will be in there twice if you add your own database. Add to that the fact that the warnings are not directional, so any on the other side of the road/dual carriageway will trigger an alert, and you can get the thing beeping at you 4 times if you happen to go through a camera that is in there twice and there's a matching camera on the other side of the road - this happens to me on a road near me - 3 speed cameras in the space of about a mile, with 3 on the opposite carriageway, so my warning beeps 12 times in total.

What quite a few people do on the connect system is to modify the csv file and remove the first 10000 entries, this leaves about 3500 entries left which are the newest ones. this means that you remove a lot of the dual alerts. don't do that on the wives juke as she is not bothered about the double alerts as its better to be alerted twice than not at all.
