Hi ,
I've got a '16 Tenka with intelligent key that would allow me to push the button on the car door to lock or unlock the car without fishing out my remote.
Lately the sensing feature only works 20% of the time, on either side of the doors, even with my remote right next to the door handle.
But when I press the lock / unlock button on the remote it works perfectly. I imagine pressing the button on the remote would use more battery power so it shouldn't be the batteries.
As far as I know if I lock the doors using the button on the remote, the sensing function would be disabled. I made sure to lock the car using the button on the door a few times instead but still would not be able to unlock the car with the door button and use the sensing feature upon return.
What could be the problem? :?:
