The only 'normal' noise from pads would maybe be a high pitched squeal, which would be the built in wear indicators. I would request the dealer strips the brakes down. Maybe a good clean and rebuild will solve your problem. If there are any issues hopefully they'll be noticed on strip down. Jismo201...

I agree it's daunting for some people, especially less confident drivers. My wife drives a 1.2 Fiat 500 with 69bhp. Imagine her surprise flooring it in my 200 bhp Nismo.

Yeah steering wheel controls only cycles the frequency and not presets.

I had my Nismo in Nissan because I thought it sounded tappy. They checked everything and assured me it's just the way that engine is.
