Re: Radio and Sat Nav Problems

If you can get an alternative with airplay of google auto, you can use the satnav on your phone, goodle maps, waze etc I think. I did have a problem with mine a few years back (different Juke) which was, in theory, partly due to test transmissions in the area. Was fixed by a software update but show...

Re: MOT suspension advisory meaning

Probably some generic wording to cover lots of slightly different designs on different makes.

Re: Radio and Sat Nav Problems

Yes, sounds like rubbish - if it was affecting all units in that area, it would be all over the news. Sounds like loose wire somewhere, though possibly could be the electronics within the unit. Cheaper than buying a new car would be to replace the unit with an aftermarket unit. I am assuming that yo...

Re: Map update options

one other point with garmin or tomtom, if you want to add your own speed camera data, the satnavs are directional with speed cameras, so they won't be set off by a camera on dual carriageway pointing in the opposite direction, whereas the Juke satnav isn't, so you'll get a lot of false warnings. If ...

Re: Map update options

You might be able to find one on ebay (make sure it's for the correct version of the connect) - the official ones are silly money -last time I looked it was about £160, and even when my Juke was new, the maps wasn't exactly up to date (in fact mine is 2 years old and there's a road near me that has ...

Re: New Member seeks buying advice please

With your mileage, I would say that under no circumstances should you buy a diesel juke, you are setting yourself up for a DPF failure (I've had one, they aren't cheap, and mine was partly paid for under warranty by a kind dealership). In terms of size - if there are just two of you, then there's a ...

Re: condensation

It might be worth cleaning the inside of the screens with a good glass cleaner - if the windows are at all dirty (which they will become with traffic grime being sucked into the car, plus pesky humans breathing inside the car), the windows won't clear as quickly. Whatever you do, don't use anything ...

Re: Condensation problem - lights

I've never really considered that this can be cured - the lights are not sealed as they have to allow air out when the lights are on as the air around the bulbs will be heated, and therefore expanding, and when the lights are off, they will draw air back in, which will contain moisture. When it's co...
