Re: DAB Radio

I cannot answer your question but would add to it.......If you fit some sort of convertor the FM ariel fitted to your car would be unsuitable for DAB so you need to change that as well.

There is additional info on the internet about this.

Brake Fluid

What's your opinion on renewing brake fluid ? I think the recommended interval is every 4 years unless of course you are doing some major changes to the brakes and it makes sense to change it at the same time. Looking at the colour of the brake fluid might give some idea of how old it is but it woul...

Re: Servicing after warranty?

If you service a car yourself at least you know what's been done, I am sure most garages and dealers are genuine but not all. Whatever you are charged there will be VAT added to it. And no matter how often you get it serviced there is no guarantee it will not break down, say you have just had it ser...

Re: Servicing after warranty?

I guess if you did a trade in at the Nissan dealers and they had serviced your car you are likely to get the best trade in deal, I suspect stamps from any other garage might be used to give you less for your car. As to a private sale, impossible to say, I have always purchased second hand cars and w...

Re: Servicing after warranty?

Good question, perhaps the answer is what are you planning to do with the car in the future ? If you change your car every 3 or 4 years then a stamp in the service book whilst costly is essential.....would you buy a car less than say 6 years old without a service book.? In my case I have a 2012 Juke...

Re: Crackling/buzzing speaker

The only way to know if the problem is with the speaker is to check it against a new speaker, As for removing the door panel the best advice is to watch one of the several youtube videos which show how to remove the front door panel. Only you can decide based on those videos if it's a easy job or to...

Re: Start/Stop not working

@actd. Whilst I do not have this model of car I have seen youtube videos which claim to switch this facility off on a permanent basis by removing or altering something in the engine bay which monitors if the bonnet is open or closed, if the sensors think the bonnet is open then the engine will not k...

Re: 1.5 oil filter

My car is 2012, had it about a year and the service book is up to date. I usually drive cars until they get to the point where it's too costly to keep them so expect at least another 6 years out of this car. Point in asking about cost of service is making the balance of the cost against spending tim...

Re: 1.5 oil filter

Assuming you took your car in for a service and asked them to change the plugs and pollen filter what sort of price would you expect to pay ? Whilst I know different dealers might vary in what they charge there must be some sort of average figure. I guess most garages could do the job but could you ...
