Re: Grinding Noise Traction Control

I do not have a 1.6 Digt so am unsure of the system in that model, my post was a more general comment and may not even apply to Nissan cars but felt it was worth @Munki checking it out. As they say if your car will not start you have a problem, if it will not stop you have a even bigger problem. You...

Door speakers

Could do with some advice about door speakers for a Juke 2012. The current sound is awful. First question, will new speakers improve the sound or is the unit fitted in these earlier models poor and that that's the problem ? Second question, if the unit is ok then what speakers do I need, some are 2 ...

Re: Grinding Noise Traction Control

If your car has rear calipers with electronic sensors in them when the pads are replaced the sensors will need resetting. Failure to reset them might show a number of things such as brake warning light on and/or affect traction control. Might be worth a phone call to the garage just to check they ha...

MPG

I have a juke Tenka 1.6 petrol 2012. I am trying to figure out what the average mpg is for the car. The advertising blurb and various websites make different claims. The display shows 41.5 mpg which I assume is supposed to be a average figure except it's been that figure for the past year and is cle...

Re: HELP!! Bonnet won’t open tried Everything

Is there any resistance on the cable when you pull it ? Have you tried pulling the cable whilst someone else is pushing down on the bonnet. A squirt of WD 40 will do no harm most tins come with a fine tube which will slip under the bonnet. Do you have a old metal clothes hanger ? Bend one end up one...

Re: Nismo fuel pump fuse

Nothing worse than intermittent faults, even the dealers will often tell you to wait until fault is there all the time which is next to useless. Clearly the codes you have cleared give no clue to the cause ? Sounds to me it's some sort of wiring problem, could the heat from the pump be causing some ...

Re: Front camera...

There are a number of youtube videos showing exactly what is required to put in a next base camera. All the fuses and what they power are on the back of the fuse box casing. A set of plastic pry bars from ebay make the job easier and safer. Removing existing fuses is a pain a pair of narrow pliers i...

Re: 1st time joker

I don't think models of that year have DAB radio.
As for the audio quality in my 2012 Juke Tenka it's absolute carp.

Re: DAB Radio

I cannot answer your question but would add to it.......If you fit some sort of convertor the FM ariel fitted to your car would be unsuitable for DAB so you need to change that as well.

There is additional info on the internet about this.

Brake Fluid

What's your opinion on renewing brake fluid ? I think the recommended interval is every 4 years unless of course you are doing some major changes to the brakes and it makes sense to change it at the same time. Looking at the colour of the brake fluid might give some idea of how old it is but it woul...
