Re: Oil filter seal keeps popping off

Oil tank? Does the Juke have a dry sump?

Normally I'd expect it could be a faulty pressure relief valve in the oil pump or possible a blockage somewhere in the lubrication system.

Re: Fuel going so fast!

Instant MPG is never a good thing a better guide is the Average Yes I realise that. I was just comparing it to other cars I've had that have had the same feature. My old 2L Montego struggled to get as low as I'm seeing on the Juke. Last night when it was cold I even got it down to 3mpg without tryi...

I have been told that it has been disabled by Nissan Europe as it's illegal in some European countries.
Did you tell them we're not in Europe?

Re: Fuel going so fast!

Have to admit, I was surprised to see ours say about 240 left to empty on a 1.2. Having watched the instant fuel consumption go down to 7mpg I was surprised as I think that must match my Pulsar Gtir and that has 340bhp. We haven't had ours long enough to check against a long journey so ours is only ...

Re: Faulty key fob?

Hi, Yes we have 2 key fobs and only one the other one hasn't needed a new battery yet.

The battery I put in last week was a Duracell battery which has already died. Even cheap batteries should last longer than a week.

I'll have a look on Youtube.

Thank you.

Faulty key fob?

Hello, I'm guessing we have a faulty intelligent key fob. We've had the car 3 weeks......fob wasn't working when we got home. Changed the battery all was good, for a week until fob was dead again, so we changed the battery again. Today, a week later, the green key on the dashboard is flashing. The m...

It's the 1.2 DIG-T
Supposedly the troublesome timing chain one.
I'm hoping they've ironed out the issues by now lol.
What years are troublesome? We've just got a 66 plate 1.2 DIG-T. Is there a recall for this?

Re: Don't they paint the engine bay the same colour any more?

Thanks for the replies. Vexorg I'd rather have a spacesaver in the boot tbh as it takes up less room, but thanks anyway. Was your Duke the 2015 one? Gasmeter, I can sort of understand that, but if they left it in, it's another item they could make some profit on. (unless they're making more profit o...

Don't they paint the engine bay the same colour any more?

Hello, We just picked up a yellow Juke at the weekend and the engine bay is a very pale yellow compared to the outside of the car. The bulkhead looks to be white. Doesn't the engine bay get done the same colour at the factory anymore? Also it came with no spare wheel, just one of those stupid cans o...
