As already discussed elsewhere I am holding a BBQ at mine on Sunday the 26th August, for all Friends and Juke owners. This will be an open house weekend from the 25th to the 27th with refreshments and snacks avaialble all weekend. We will be happy to see you on any of the days or indeed all 3 if you so wish The BBQ will be on the Sunday come rain or shine the latter hopefully Our address for searching google is CT6 6QL, the beach is located at the end of our road and is of shingle so sorry no sandcastle building, this beach is used mostly by locals so space on it is always available as there are no facilities nearby so toruists tend tos stick to the town area accomodation is available though a quick look reveals it to be getting booked upthere is a B&B in our road http://www.beltingesummerhouse.co.uk/ not sure of the prices but it is a nice house and the owners are very respectable they do have a dog .the premier inn is under 2 miles away at other end of village http://www.premierinn.com/en/there are travel lodges and inns in nearby Whitstable approx 9 miles there is also a list of local places here http://www.hernebaytp.co.uk/searchresult.php?p=1&category=5&area=Herne BayIf you want to stay over and take a look at what East kent has to offer I have listed some attractions hereTurner Gallery, Margate http://www.turnercontemporary.org/The Spitfire Museum, Manstonhttp://spitfiremuseum.org.uk/Canterbury with Cathedral and over historical interests http://www.canterbury.co.uk/things-to-see-and-do/Dover Castle http://www.english-heritage.org.uk/daysout/properties/dover-castle/Leeds Castle(Maidstone) http://www.leeds-castle.com/land.phpHowletts Zoo http://www.aspinallfoundation.org/howlettsWingham Wildlife Park http://www.winghamwildlifepark.co.uk/Wildwood wildlife park http://www.wildwoodtrust.org/I would appreciate it if you can confirm if you are coming just so I have an idea of numbers for the BBQ to be certain I have enough food to cater but not mountains left over there maybe some alcohol available but I would suggest you bring your own My Scalextric will be available to those that want to have a go I also plan on having a table football tournament and Air hockey championship though i need to purchase the games first Unfortunately i cant offer accomodation as we dont have spare rooms but if someone crashes on the sofa so be it we have spare duvetsI really hope to see as many of you as possible and hope the weather is good and we have a great weekend
