I read about 'Drop Stop' for stopping coins, keys, memory cards, crisps, peanuts, chewing gum, credit card etc. from falling down the gap between seat and console, on another forum (19 dollars plus shipping - I don't think so!), and decided to D-I-M (do it myself).

Take about 1700 x 300mm underlay (I used the thin grey one for laminate flooring, not a bad match for my silver console).
Fold in half, lengthwise, then into three, width wise.
Bend edges in slightly and squash down the gap between seat and console.
Repeat for passenger side.

If you're feeling hyper picky, you could cut out a hole for the seat belt.

If the colour is obtrusive, pop the things into long tube socks (will absorb light spills) of an appropriate shade.

Water pipe insulation may also work similarly.

I like the homemade ideas! I own the drop stop and it's nice. It moves when you slide the seats forward and back, yet stays in position.I never saw a link to the Drop Stop but thought someone might be interested in what it is and maybe get more home made ideas.Drop Stop
