Hello, This is my first post on this forum. I have a Force Red Diesel 2012. Had it since April 1, done about 6,000 miles. I love it, great car, still have'nt stopped needing to clean it ever weekend as yet (what a saddo). Before I bought it I noticed several reviewers had commented that you need to 'nurse' the clutch and sure enough I find that if you don't take care you can easily get a judder when pulling away. It seems to be worse on cold damp days but that might be imagination. These cluthes are short travel and quite firm so I think it's a characteristic of the design (reminds me of my Mk1 Escort Mexico I had years ago - yup I'm quite old). I'm wondering if others have noticed the same thing or if maybe I am seeing the start of a problem developing. I'd be grateful if anyone else could comment on their experience. Cheers!

Hi JW, welcome to the forum, sounds like you're as old as me mk1 escort era. As for clutch issue I have a 1.5 dci that is 22 months old. I have only done 12k in it but have not noticed any clutch issues with mine and have never. Nursed it just driven it and changed gear as I have always done.

Yes I know what you mean, it took me a bit to get used to it, as I was not used to diesel engines either, although I am not usually slow off the mark at the lights

Welcome to the mad house by the way :)

Hi and welcome I've not noticed it on Mrs. Paul_S' Juke but I can induce clutch judder on the 370Z if I get it wrong.By the way, you're definitely not a saddo for washing your car every week. I think it's normal! We do need pictures to prove it though

When I collected my Juke after it's bumper fix in march it had masking tape on the windows, written on that was the comment " DO NOT WASH " , does anyone know how long it takes for paint to dry. Tc

Tc, you havent washed your car since March, you'll make some people gasp in horror, you know how anal some off us are towards constant cleaning of our beautiful cars.btw I think its safe to assume you can remove the masking tape and wash it now
