Had a conversation with Nissan yesterday about a few issues of concern that I have been reading about around the net, not affecting too many members on here thankfully but I find it useful to keep abreast of the situation in the event it becomes an issue and then we are already armed with the relevant information.Anyway I question why some cars had had delivery date halted and from the post I read elsewhere no new date known. The problem appears to only affect diesel models and that of the NON i key so acent premium down basically the BSI unit isnt sending the correct signals to the engine and thus the glow plugs are not working so making it difficult to start the car. the fix requires a new BSI unit to be fitted if by any chance any one has to take an exisiting car in for this make sure you take BOTH keys as they need re coding to the car when the new BSI is fitted and if they dont have both then the other key will no longer work Main point this is affecting a small number of cars and shouldnt send anyone into panic mode about if yours is going to be late or your current car is faulty.

Diesel
deliveries:

A concern
relating to a small number of Juke diesels has been identified which may affect
the operation of the glow plugs when the engine is started. In order to
minimise customer dis-satisfaction, we have therefore taken the step of holding
any affected vehicles and carrying out the repair work before we allow the
vehicles to be released to customers. We apologise for any disappointment and
inconvenience that this has caused but hope that customers will understand that
we want to ensure that their new Juke performs in the correct manner.
