Washed the pride and joy tonight and just as I was finishing with the chamois, there it was on the drivers door a long crease. For years I have had access to a private car park with wide bays. I have just moved buildings and now have to park in the main public car park where the bays are tighter. I always park in an end bay to minimise this risk, but alas the inconsiderate souls have no morals. I also check the car every time I walk up to it; so it was definitely Mr Rust Bucket peugeot parked next to me today. (Not noticeable with the car adjacent).

I will now be scouring the ads for a dent master in the MK area and will be out of pocket. Moreover if the side protection bar obstructs access I will have a car with less than 1300 miles on the clock with a nice door crease. Fuming doesn't do it justice.

Has anyone any experience with dentwizard.co.uk?No, here where I am we have a local man who has an excellent reputation in this fieldso its possible there will be someone similar in your area.removing dents without filling/painting is a specialised job and I would say most are quite skilled at itmake sure the person you get is doing this as opposed to filling and painting as if the latter is the case IMO you would be better off in a proper bodyshop

Cheers Deks. I will be looking for PDR given the paint is not broken. Had a PDR repair on my A2 and it was a fantastic job. Just concerned about the reinforcement bar being in the way and I am aggrieved at the cost I can do without incurring.

To quote a phrase we use on nissansportz when that happens - it boils my piss to hear this.I hate it when people show no care and respect to others peoples' property

Nice quote Paul...

Thanks all for your sympathetic ears; much needed and appreciated.

Well, I rang around a few specialists today and managed to secure a visit from Excel Dents just after lunch. Great customer service. Steve the nice chap from said company spent around 20 minutes perfecting his craft - result; voila a perfect unmarked finish.

Chuffed to bits to be honest to have the car back to top notch status. I just wish I could get my hands on said inconsiderate soul and shake them upside down to the tune of 100 notes. £72 for the repair, the rest for my sleepless night.

Thanks TC; I share your view.

I have today reverted to a bay that I used to park in many years ago. Result is an unnecessary 10 minutes worth of exercise to the office, but the gain (besides improving my fitness), is that I now park in an end bay that I could park side ways in...
