Hi there all, Jay here proud owner of a new juke 1.6 tekna. All the family love the look and feel of the car so no problems there. However after owning the car just over a month and looking at the pratical benefits you should enjoy with a new car I was really disappionted by the fuel consumption. The car has now been in ECO mode constantly for 3 weeks and driven like an 80 yr old would drive it (no offence meant) and still at best the car is saying 36.3 mpg. After re-fueling I checked this and worked out a true 35.01 mpg. Is anyone else with a 1.6 petrol suffering with the same problem ?????? Better still has anyone a solution maybe something Im doing wrong ??????

Jay the Juke IMO isnt renowned for its fuel economy on any model. That said I have seen people with you engine achieve more mpg than I can in the diesel'Is the car new if so will need a little time to bed in.

Thanks Dek but you would imagine that it would of loosend up by now having done 1600 miles wouldnt you ? After all there are cars out there with much bigger engines and power doing far better than mine, personally I think it is terrible. I would be interested to hear from anyone else with the same engine. After all Nissan have the guts to avertise 36.7 urban, 55.4 extra urban and 47.1 combined in their price guide..... ( IN THEIR DREAMS )

Thanks Dek Ill give it a go. I spoke to the garage today and they have offered to do a fuel consumption test over 2 days. Fair play to the garage but I think the results will be interesting. Ill keep you informed

Hi guys,
I picked up my new juke on Monday , nearly a week ago.
In all fairness I have gone completely crazy driving it everywhere, I have done both motorway and town driving and already have my 1.5 diesel to 46.6 mpg.
Not sure weather this is good or bad but I'm happy with it.
