Once again I have seen this topic being discussed and again the wrong information being passed on to the person asking. So to ensure that JOG members are informed of the right information, All 2wd Jukes have 46 Litre tanks and the 4WD has 50 litre not the other way round as some people suggest claiming it has a smaller tank to make room for the 4wd system, when infact it has the larger tank probably to allow for the more fuel it uses You can see the technical spec in the BROCHURE that is linked scroll down to the relevant page which is 28 of 40

well i've had to check up on that again LOL... I've filled up 2x now and when I only got 35.3l in the 1st time I thought hhmmm, so why'd you get so panicky re ---- km left to go? Then filled up again yesterday and again just 36.08l..... so I thought ok, maybe I read wrong (or remember wrong) and it's a 40l tank... only to come here and be reminded it's 46l (books are in the car in the garage - easier to come here LOL) ... so I have nearly 10l left but it's almost yelling at me to best fill up... a tad stressful LOL.... never mind that it starts warning me from about 57km left to go already... but if I still have 10l I should be able to go another 130km or thereabouts (according to current consumption - which isn't too great yet at 7.64 (mixed)... though saying that... it did leak quite badly after the last fill-up which was due to something being loose under the passenger seat (quickly drove it in to get checked - was a bit scary!)so... it starts flashing with about 57km to go (according to itself LOL)the km still to go vanish and go to ----- at what point?but when I fill up I have nearly 10l left still..... 3rd time lucky perhaps? And how to get that consumption down to or at least closer to the magic 6 I wonder - and no I don't drive wildly LOL.... I have to book it in to get the fog lights sorted anyhow (didn't work when I collected and a note was made) so I need to ask them about this fuel guage setting (unless it's standard like this??) as well as why my service is telling me only at 30,000 (28, something to go) when it's meant to be serviced every 15,000?

That's quite low so far, it might be worth re-setting the gauge (also the gauge isn't that accurate either).

Or use a site like Fuelly, which is free, to calculate your consumption.

As the engine settles down, after about 8000 km, the consumption should improve.

ohhhhh... so it DOES get better in a bit? Yay... only just gone over 1000km (got it with 197km)... and I'm not quoting the cars kpl gauge, that's been hovering around 6.9 - 7.1 :) ... I used an online calculator to get the 7.64 with the last fuel re-fill and km travelled ;) So the fuel tank / warning story?? Everyone experiencing the same? Nearly 10l left but the warning has already gone to ---- km left?

I've let mine run down to the 8km (5 miles) remaining, but suspect I could squeeze another 16km (10 miles) out of him before he croaked.

I'm currently getting an average of 31.6mpg (7.44l/100km) according to http://www.fuelly.com/ but the very cold weather and shorter journeys have a tendency to slurp the juice .

Mine is certainly like that and from what I have read on various forums this is a common problem. I find the fuel gauge and the "km to go" figure to be so inaccurate as to be useless. On my car the l/100 km figure is usually spot on or very close, so I re-set that and a trip meter every time I fill up. I then do a bit of mental arithmetic to come up with my own "km to go" figure that has proved very reliable so far. I did cut it a bit fine once, when it took 45.01 litres to fill up!

my Tekna CVT is only doing 31.6 MPG but as acrorat stated, we have had the bad weather to contend with, so lets hope things get better if the weather ever does

Erm no, that's how I ended up with the diesel, the dig was mine but do too much mileage so hubby took it off me and then tried palming me off with a fiesta, as if, so I got a diesel Juke instead. Get to play with the dig at weekends

That's the one thing I didn't really consider when ordering the Nismo and wasn't really thinking straight as was excited by the pictures ,wild looks ,new image ,value for money and reasonable performance and enthuastic juke owners group

25/a 30-35 ??
Know idea really untill I get it
I get 23mpg woth my weekend Subaru
30 mpg with the everyday Accord
48 mpg with my impreza Deisel which is going px for the Nismo
Didn't really condsoder a Deisel as I only will do 11-12 k per year with the juke Nismo as my main criteria was a fun performance car at a sensible price and individuality
