Having just lost my job I'm thinking of getting rid of my 26 month old Octavia vRS as I no longer need a diesel and the Juke is on my radar so I'm here to read up and find out a bit about them. From what I've learned already I think I'm limited to a 4wd as I want one with CVT transmission and decent power and I've read that the 117ps models are a bit underpowered, perhaps someone can confirm whether my research is correct

I like 4wd, in fact up until my latest car I ran Subaru's and don't half miss the feeling of all 4 wheels gripping it's just the £200 per year RFL which is a worry.Torque2013-04-08 19:31:44

Hi torque
Welcome to this great forum

I used to have an Octavia years ago

Also small world but ran Subarus for 13 years and am px my impreza wrxd ( yes diesel ) for a Juke Nismo and hopefully collecting this week once plates transferred
I have made the transformation and gave the Juke Nismo a good try before signing the order pad but was delighted with the performance and grip although I tested the auto 4wd and ordered the manual 2wd so can gave you more feedback on overall handleing and performance once it's run in

But you won't be dissapointed woth juke ownership also have price road tax and insurance and service costs
I worked out over £2500 would be sever over 3 years from scooby to Nismo

Now there's a user name I recognise, I'm still a member of LADS and a good friend of a certain Scooby Towers. Subaru's are also back on my radar depending on the distances I need to travel if / when I get a new job.

Quite a number of possibilities for my next car all depending on work of course and that's just 1 of the things that makes owners forums such an invaluable thing.
