Unfortunately, a simple copy and paste of a web page address into your post won't actually do what you are probably hoping it will - it won't make a clickable link for other people to use. They will just see http://www.jukeownersgroup.com/how-to_forum22.htmlWhich they can copy and paste into a new window, but takes effort. But all is not lost! You have two options.Option 1 - click the button! The button you are after is this -> Just up there at the top of the reply box that you are typing in.Depending on what browser you are using (IE, Safari on a Mac or Safari on an iPad, etc), you will get different prompts. That's just the way this forum copes with different browsers, and is nothing to worry about At the least, you will be prompted for the URL you want to link to.Simply paste the URL in, and away to go!This will be then displayed in the post as something like http://www.jukeownersgroup.com/how-to_forum22.htmlOther browsers (Chrome on iPad for example), give you more options, allowing you to name your link. This will display in your post as something like Click this to see some really exciting stuff!Option 2 - get a bit technical Basically, it is possible to achieve both of the above results without clicking the button. If you prefer coding the old skool way , or simply want to do the naming link thing when your browser only supports the full URL posting method, read on...To achieve the full URL link method, use [ URL]insert URL here[ /URL](remove the spaces after each of the [ characters)To get the custom link affect, use [ URL=insert URL here]insert the link words you want here[ /URL]Again, remove the spaces after the [enjoy!
