Description :
It is possible that the vehicles
brake fluid maybe contaminated with mineral oil. This can cause the
seals within the system to swell and affect their sealing properties.
This may require drivers to apply additional force to the foot brake and
could increase stopping distances.

Remedial Action :
Recall affected vehicles to have the system flushed and replenished with clean fluid.

The Turbocharger boost sensor
bracket may separate from the air inlet tube. The boost pressure may be
measured incorrectly and the engine warning lamp may be illuminated.
In an extreme cases, during low-speed driving the engine may stall and
cannot be restarted

Remedial Action :
Inspect and if necessary replace the air inlet tube with a new one

Description :
Nissan has identified that the fuel
rail pressure sensor of some vehicles may have not been correctly
tightened to the fuel rail of the engine and may loosen gradually due to
heat and vibration of the engine. If left undetected and the vehicle
continues to be driven in this condition, in extreme cases, fuel leakage
may occur.

Remedial Action :
Re-tighten the pressure sensor and replace the pressure sensor gasket if required.

Description :
In the event that the driver airbag
is deployed during a frontal impact, small holes may occur on the
surface of the airbag. The holes are caused by high temperature gases
from the airbag inflator exhausting directly onto the surface of the
airbag material. The high temperature gas/airbag material may contact
the drivers skin. The deployment performance of the driver airbag is not
affected.

Remedial Action :
To replace the driver airbag with new.

i've had a recall letter from Nissan today it reads as folllows: As part of the continuous improvement process at Nissan, we have identified a safety related concern which could affect your Nissan jukeThere is a possibility that in the event of the driver airbag being deployed during a frontal impact, small holes may occur on the surface of the airbag.The holes are caused by high temperature gases from the airbag inflator exhausting directly onto the surface of the airbag material.It may be possible that the high temperature gas/airbag material may contact the drivers skin,the deployment performance of the driver airbag is not affected by this potential concern. It goes on to tell me to call my dealer and arrange an appointment, and they will replace the driver airbag with a new one, the work will take only 1/2 hour to complete. just thought i'd add it here

Nissan is conducting
a Voluntary Safety Recall Campaign on approximately 2,400 model year 2012
(between 7 June 2012 and 4 July 2012) Nissan Juke (F15) vehicles in UK to
replace the driver airbag (this is part of a wider global recall). We're not
aware of any accidents or injuries associated with the issue.

We've been notifying
customers affected during February. Nissan retailers will replace the driver
airbag at no cost to the customer. Nissan is committed to a high level of
customer safety, service and satisfaction and is working with its dealers to
promptly address this issue.

thanks Deks i picked my Daisy up last july shes a 12 plate i am going away for a few days tomorrow so i need her, i will call the dealers next week and get her booked in.

just thought i would let you know i had my Daisy in this afternoon for the airbag recall it took around an hour to do. i may be wrong but it looks like my passenger airbag has been done too, as its not sitting as flush as it used too.

Yep happened to me...engine eventually restarted after letting it sit for a while. Was stranded on the M6 motorway a couple of years ago as slowed down for roadworks and it stalled....Ended up selling my juke..took it to 3 garages and each one said engine fuel problems and a whole new part has to be put in and has to come from Nissan factory matching make and model of car Sold car and went for Honda instead

I know what you mean I have ordered a new none Nissan, just waiting on delivery I have had nissans all my life and never had to take any of them back for recalls or issuesjukey has had a couple of recalls and a few issues. its a shame I think there is too much Renault influence

Hi Kimi I wa in the silver juke parked right next door to you , I was talking to your husband about using the cruise control I was not confident enough to use it at that time . I went for a new juke in March as I still love them , so you now going for a Mazda , all the best when it arrives . Cazvaz
