Also a perfect example of the need to fit protection in the first place :-) why didn't Nissan think it was necessary?

I agree with Actd, this is a slight design flaw. if this part is so easy to damage and is not covered under warranty then it shouldn't be exposed to the open road like it currently is.

Unfortunately, the formatting of the text has been messed up and all the pictures have disappeared for some reason. I guess there has been a software upgrade on the forum and it was all lost.

The images are still in the place they were linked to.

Here are all the images from the original instructions (not in the correct order)

I hope you can pick through them and work it out from there.

Hi Paul,
many many thanks for that. I thought I would have to remove the whole bumper, although in hindsight do you think I should remove it.
I have a very similar situation to you air con blows warm air and there's a large stain on the condenser i don't there are any other problems with the system

You definitely don't need to remove the front bumper to do the job. It would offer you more room for manoeuvre but I weighted that up against the possibility of damaging it (or the wings) and decided not to. I guess it depends on how comfortable you are with removing the entire bumper and how flexible you are to crawl around on the floor more if you don't!

I had problems trying to separate the lower black part, went for the easier option of bumper off.

The new condenser comes with new dryer (drier??) and pressure switch from Nissan.
