Dci remap

Post by Xsub » Wed Oct 17, 2018 10:52 pm

I have a 2016 tekna Dci and it's fast and I m wondering if it's been remapped, but how can I find out without putting it on a rolling road.
It has loads of torque and revs freely to 5000rpm
I'm leaving some sportier cars for dead
The previous owner made it look visually sportier looking, 18 inch alloys, rear spoiler. I don't know who it was as i bought it from a Nissan main dealer but I did find out he PXd it for a Nismo RS so I'm thinking he likes speed.
Or are 1.5 Dci really that quick ?

To be honest, I find it a bit gutless for a diesel, and quite lacking in torque by normal diesel standards.

Well this one is quick and a joy to drive.
In had a spirited drive ( on a private road) with a 4 series coupe last night and was more than a match for it.
I also used to have a seat Ibiza 1.9 tdi which I had remapped and there's not much difference between that and the Dci

Just enjoy your motor.
Its only a Juke if it's RED.

The bmw driver may have been not trying. I've also got a stock DS4 2.0 diesel, it's like night and day between the two for pulling away.
