TIming belt interval on diesel

Post by vexorg » Thu Aug 30, 2018 10:09 am

What gives here, why do renault have a 100k mile interval: http://www.powertrain.renault.com/our-r ... 1.5-dcik9k

In general most sites state renault at 90k/ 6 years miles for changing the belt, nissan say 90,000km, could nissan have km and miles mixed up???

Worth querying it directly with Nissan - otherwise I'd stick to the recommendation. If a belt snaps, the cost would be eye-watering.

Nissan did come back eventually saying it should be 90k miles. Thought I had updated this post.
