That looks like some weird English place where you have silly laws. Still not an answer to what the office is. Those example may have been rear lights as we all know the front fogs do not cause a problem! (for most ;) )

Just curious MandZ, how many traffic related fines and points do you have? how many accidents have you been involved in?

Just ignore my posts as you obviously can't cope with simple things. I'll grant you the same courtesy.

Depends on the wording in the highway code - if it says "must", then it is taken from the law. If it says "should" then it isn't law, but advisory.

You’re wasting your time with him ;-)

I noticed last night, when I had my foglights on (because it was foggy!!) that the car beeps at you to say you've left them on when you turn the car off.

I Also wondered why juke owners drove round with the spots on....

Owning one, i now see how this happens! the headlight stalk is confusing.... You have autolights, but even adjusted in the computer, they dont come on soon enough. so you are left turning once for side lights, or twice for inner.

However... if you turn the inner dial..... all lights come on and work auto with ignition.... its an easy mistake to make for those not savy! I notice alot of juke drivers who are abviously not 'the spot light type' with spots on... and assume this is what they are doing?

Bad design imo... to many light options.

I leave ours on auto and never usually change it. One thing I notice in the auto mode is that it's not very good at turning the lights on when rainy, my other car (citroen), has lights on as soon as it rains.

There's also the dash warning for foglights, no real claim of ignorance.
