It's a belt, I've just recently bought an identical Juke and first job was cam belt and water pump changing. I paid £546 at main dealer.

It sounds expensive but personaly worth it for peace of mind knowing it's been done properly. (Price included auxiliary belt and tensioners aswell).

For real peace of mind best do it yourself, that way you know it's really done right

mine is a 2012 1.5 with 50k on the clock but im not thinking of changing the belt etc just yet.
haynes say the specified interval is 90k or 5 years but recommend 50k or 4years.
£550 every 4 years is a bit much,i had my last car 14 years.i changed the belt once at 70k .
You can get it cheaper if you shop about, but if they mess this job up you will need a another engine.

How many hours does it take to change a timing belt ?
Their mechanics must be on £100 a hour !
