Bulbs

Post by Duncan22 » Tue Aug 21, 2018 3:58 pm

Ordered some bulbs for the rear lights on a Nissan Juke 2012 from a well known supplier, check list showed the rear bulbs for my car except they were the wrong bulbs, they look like very old fashioned bulbs I was using on my cars 30 years ago.

The nissan bulbs are the type that just slot into the bulb holder, can someone advise me of the exact bulbs I need to order, whilst I am at it I might as well replace all 6 bulbs.

If anyone can recommend a supplier or link to a supplier that would be helpful

Hi.
I don't know where you live but you can get all the information and look at the bulbs in Halfords, down here they fit for free.
Mike.

@MIKE45
Thanks for that, the Halfords up here in Lancashire charge £ 5 for fitting bulbs, there is also a charge for fitting wipers.
Not that I have a problem in changing the bulbs as I had to remove the covers to discover I had the wrong bulbs.
A trip to Halfords seems the best bet although I find their prices are higher than most, still considering what the car cost I guess I should not quibble about pay out a bit extra for bulbs.
Out of interest I did get some refrence numbers for bulbs....#7440 brake light. #7443 Turn signal light. #921 Reverse light. Problem is these look like led bulbs rather than the standard bulbs.
