Is it easy to hide the wiring through the car instead of hard wiring it please?

Main thing to check is the length of the power lead, it has to be long enough to go around the edge of the windscreen then across the passenger area to the power socket.....if it is not long enough you are looking at a new power lead.
The lead will push into the head line easy enough coming down the side of the windscreen it a bit harder to get it in and the rest is fairly easy.
The above comments are assuming nothing is removed but I guess a more professional job could be done if you are removing the trim.
If you have any doubts it may not cost that much to get it fitted.

Thanks for being helpful yes I was going to try this myself. What tool do you think I will need to purchase to tuck the wire around the trim? I think the cam lead is about 4 metres so hopeful it should be long enough

I managed to make a fairly neat job of hiding the wiring to my dashcam.
Try gently pulling away the edge of the trim with your fingertips, and tucking the wire in with the edge of a credit card.
