Hi tonybony

As far as I am aware you have two choices - Tesco Momentum or Shell V Power. I believe these are the only options for 98 octane as required by the Rs.
Hope this helps.

Nissan recommend fuel with a minimum spec of 98 ron. personally I would not risk going lower and prefer to play safe with momentum at 99 ron.

I agree - if Nissan recommend 98 minimum and you put in less, then if there's a problem, you might find they won't cover a warranty claim. You may get away with the odd tank if you are running out, but I'd go for the recommended or above. I have the standard 1.6 DiG-T which takes 95 minimum but I still use 97 or upwards, it does feel better and seem to help with mpg, and if you are paying out extra for the RS, seems a false economy to save a couple of pounds on each fill up.
2012 - Acenta Premium dCI - Gun metallic
2014 - Acenta Premium 1.2 DiG-T - Nightshade
2015 - Acenta Premium 1.6 DiG-T - Black
2017 - N-Connecta 1.6 DiG-T - Black

I've tried top grade diesel in my car, didn't see or feel any difference in performance
10% more expensive but a 10% increase in mpg - neutral outcomeMikeGC2016-07-07 08:49:59
