New juke shame

Post by vexorg » Sun Dec 01, 2019 6:21 pm

Well, after not being that impressed by the new juke on the event night, we booked a test drive anyway. My wife loved it, so 2 hours later we walked away with a new juke on order.

Tekna+, fuji sunset red with black roof, red/orange interior pack - heated seats were a must. The things you do for a happy life....

The colour is on back order so may be a few months for them to arrive in the UK.

Just too soft when it comes to family wanting things, and my stuff still for years waiting for a bit of spare money to spend on it

Not been to a showroom nor have I test driven one. Not in the market for a new car of any description. the press release images are think are a good look for next generation if a bit safe. Did however seen a transporter Weds last week with a few on it in grey and it just looked bland and it wasn't until I saw the badge I actually realised what it was. Your colour choice is the same as I configured to see what price would be and would be what I would order if I was to.

I quite like the look of it but the engine is just too tame compared to the 1.6 dig-t and certainly even more so to what I'm in now. Can't see me going back.

2014 - Acenta Premium 1.2 DiG-T - Nightshade
2015 - Acenta Premium 1.6 DiG-T - Black

2016 - Audi TT 2.0 TFSI S-Tronic - White

As a general day to day car, the engine seemed fine, no worse than the diesel for power. Must be a getting old thing where creature comforts win over performance. Although I do have other cars to have fun with.

As the owner of a new Juke Tekna Plus, we are pleased with the car and the gizmos plus safety features .
This replaces our 2011 AWD Juke.

I didn't like the new juke. I read a lot of reviews and found the Juke coming bottom in comparisons. As it turns out I've seeen the perfomance stats mis quoted. When you look closely the new three cylinder motor is nearly identical perfomance to the old 1.2 DigT. I eventually took a test drive expecting to be unimpressed but was completely surprised. I'm now 500 miles into my new grey Juke and really starting to like it big time. It's more grown up and beter road holding, Fuel economy is much better (50 ~Mpg in cold weather is best so far). It actually does read the speed limit signs so the out of date sat nav data is no longer an issue. I've put it in sport a couple of times and it really does feel lively and planted. With lots of new toys, some a waste of time but things like electronic brake and hill hold a real upgrade I'm really stating to enjoy driving it.

Go take a test drive, you'll probably be surprised.
