So car is just about to top 1000 miles and will be looking to remap it soon. I have asked Abbey if they have any plans to offer this but does anyone know of anyone else or something similar.I know about Bluefin which is currently the option I am considering .

Hi ee, welcome to the forum. To be fair I have read nothing but good things about bluefin and indeed this was the route I was taking until Mark said they could do a bespoke(for want of a better word) map. I know this way doesnt give me the removal or add at will option but it will be tailored to my car.Intercooler is an option I am looking at, the DCI one apprently is smaller than the DIG-T and Abbey are changing their DIG -T one so hopeing to get that at a good price to put on mine thus saving me some pennies but hopefully adding more improvement. Exhaust is more of an issue as neither myself or my wife the main driver feels the need to have a loud noise out of the rear end.Also the last car i ever modified was a mk2 RS2000 so things have moved on a tad since then and I have no knowledge of all this remap and fit this and that etc so will have to be guided by Mark @ Abbey Motorsport. I am guessing he will do the remap them add the intercooler so we can see the difference that makes after the remap.

Diesel may well show a peak figure of a DIG T car but it will never hold the torque like the DIG T due to the turbo being far too small.The Diesel on the dyno you can over load the IC very quickly so increasing the boost will very quickly over whelm the stock IC , look like a DIG T cooler will fit easily so this will be a good cost effective upgrade and sorting the exhaust system out will help as well.Just speaking to our tuning partner for the Diesels we will spend a lot of time on the boost and throttle maps like we do on the ZEDS and the DIG T and Base Jukes with good results.Keep an eye on here for updates or on our Facebook pageshttp://www.facebook.com/AbbeyMotorsportUKhttp://www.facebook.com/pages/Abbey-Motorsport-Ltd/106834979341445

I've fired them an email, as i'm also looking down the "long term route".I would rather goto Abbey who can provide a map, but then 6 months later i can install a bigger intercooler and exhaust, and push more power,

I've heard nothing from abbey. I did send them an email before Christmas, and left a phone message for them to contact me after Xmas.
I'm not ready yet as I want to start and finish some other bits but would be good to know my options . . . ..
