i.ve not fitted one myself but a few have and will surely be along to express their view but from memory I am pretty sure it sits slightly proud of the bonnet, I will see if I can find an image

 

 

That was quick Deks thank you very much for the reply. From the image it looks like it does.

 

not fitted one but the do stand proud of the bonnet as Deks stated. also having looked closely at one the 2 outer edges actually sit on the bonnet offering no protection and it may be advisable to just pop a small felt or rubber pad to protect the paintwork

 

hello Brian C,i have one on mine only the two clip actually touch the bonnet no part of the protector touches the bonnet hope that helps.
