Hi everyone

Just sold our civic type r and bought a black juke nismo, never owned a Nissan before but loving it so far,
We bought a 13 plate black nismo which is pretty much standard apart from a forge dump valve and a miltek exhaust.
Just thought we would say hi, as I was an active member on a civic forum and these forums help no end.
we've only hadn't it three days now, and two of those days were spent cleaning the car properly as it was caked in tar and other crap, but now looks loads better.
Anyone have any thing or quirks to look out for with a nismo, or anything to do to make the most of it.

Welcome to the forum. Enjoy the car.

A few have went down the tuning route - a proper tune and not a plug in box.

If you fancy adding colour, you can get trim bits from eBay etc, interior bulb changes to LED.

Hello, thinks for the replies, was thinking of speaking to litchfied regarding that, saw something online about a tuning package which you can alter the boost via the car controls which I like the look of, apparently it's something they do as well. Think we're gonna get the roof wrapped red as well as some red headlight covers,

If you search out posts by Gadget - he has a Litchfield tune. 247bhp I believe.

Carbon wrap on the bonnet is also done sometimes.

Hello, been reading about this forge dump valve that fitted to the car, it's atmospheric and by the sounds of it , it's not great for the car. It idles fine and runs great, it's making me pranked now thinking its gonna damage the engine in some way, is it better to go back to standard for now, and get a recirculating one. Or will it be ok. Also, any idea where to get a standard one, Nissan want £400 for a new one. Lol
