New juke totally dead

Our 2020 juke wouldn't unlock when we came back to the car, so thought the battery in the fob was dead. Opened the car with the key and still wouldn't go. Went home for the spare key and still nothing.

We phoned nissan as it's still under warranty and they arranged for the RAC to look at it and bring it to them if need be. The RAC gave us a time of 5 hours to get there. So I went and got a meter, and the battery was at 3v.

Gave it a jump start and all was good, fine the next day too. Battery good overnight and started first time.

The car was locked, nothing plugged in, and it does shut off everything when locked. Yet the battery went flat in 4 hours.I can only think it was an electrical problem that hadn't shut something off.

I spoke to nissan and they said if it's fine now then there's probably no point in booking it in as they'll only check the battery too, and it's clearly fine.

A small update on this. Last night I parked up and went in the house. I looked out the window and the headlights were still on. Usually they turn off and only DRL lights are on (unless you flash the lights for the see me home mode).

I gave it a few minutes and they were still on. Waited a few mrre minutes and decided to go back out. Car was fully locked. Started the car, and turned it off, and headlights went off as soon as the car was off, back to DRL only. And they went off within a minute.

I'm guessing some software bug in there not turning things.off.

I would doubt they'd be much help as it will be beyond the average dealer. It needs issan to sort it out, assuming they can find the problem. If it happens so infrequenctly then I'd suspect nothing can be done.
