Can't remember which I used, but was certainly something like that on my current 2012 Juke - I stuck mine permanently behind the wine rack, which works and looks good. The only advice I'd give now is that if you are making it non-removeable, then allow a small gap at the bottom so straw can drop down from the bottom - I periodically have to clear bits of straw out of my grilles.

Good advice, thanks I'm not sure how / where I'll fix the grille yet. I'll start a new thread once I've installed it.

The grilles are fine

I recently removed and re-painted them as they had sustained some chipping from the stones they had caught - so they are doing a good job...

Mine are held in place with cable-ties by the way.....

I bought some black grille from Halfrauds tonight. Hope to fit it this weekend. It's reasonable quality from what I saw but it's a bit pricey. If anyone is thinking of using the silver one then you can buy a bigger piece for not a lot more from B&Q. Shame they didn't have black. I couldn't be bothered to paint it...

Still cheaper than a repair or replacement of broken parts, the mesh is of quite good quality so will hopefully cope well with any stones that do hit it.

Absolutely!

I'm hoping to do it in one across all the holes in the wine track and folding it to cover the slot above them. I might well change my mind when I get to do it though!I'll be sure to post up a full guide once it's done.

Update on repairing 2011 Juke stone damaged Air Conditioning radiator. Damaged whilst travelling at only 35 mph on a main road. Nissan quoted ÂŁ716.22 to fit a new AC rad.Nissan Directors office did not accept that the 3 big wine rack holes without any mesh inserts in the sub bumper are a big weakness and even the new 2014 juke is no better. There is new plastic mesh at the back of the car, but none at the front where needed. New AC rads are apparently available on ebay for less than ÂŁ100 but I got one from Slick parts in Oldham Lancs for ÂŁ250 plus VAT. The part appears to be an OEM spec made by a Swedish company. Nissan quote ÂŁ499 for the same part.My local dealer then fitted it for ÂŁ150 (Including VAT and re-gassing) so total cost was ÂŁ450 not ÂŁ716 as originally quoted for parts and labour by Nissan. To stop any more damage I have been to B&Q and bought some expanded aluminium mesh and put it behind the 3 big holes and secured with black cable ties.
